A Microsoft developer has leaked this Thursday (Apr 12th) the next two-years roadmap for some of the company's key software. The scheduled published include dates for the next Office, new versions of Windows Phone and Internet Explorer 10.
Maarten Visser, CEO of Dutch cloud developer Meetroo, leaked the plans on his Twitter account. The roadmap was issued at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, VA at the end of last year. Microsoft has confirmed that the schedule is indeed true in an interview to The Register.
"We often provide forward-looking information to our partners and customers under our confidentially agreements with them. This information contains our best estimates and is, in no way, final or definitive," said a spokesperson for the company to The Register.
According to the roadmap, Office 15 is expected to drop in March 2013 (with updated versions of Exchange, SharePoint, Project and Vision). The next major Windows Phone update is expected for October 1st this year, and another update should be released in October 2013. IE 10 is expected to drop this summer.
