Samsung has just issued invites to the press for the latest in their series of "Samsung Mobile Unpacked" events. The company uses these events to launch flagship devices such as the Galaxy Note. This latest invite doesn't specifically mention the highly anticipated Galaxy S III by name but it's hard to imagine the company launching anything else after the incredible amount of rumors and "leaked" images of devices coming in every day.
As usual when it comes to the announcement of highly anticipated devices, the invitation is subject to rigorous investigation. The invite simply refers to the coming phone as the "Next Galaxy" which has lead many to believe they might be changing the name of the sucessor to the Galaxy S II.
This rumor seems unlikely as Samsung has built up quite a bit of brand awareness around the Galaxy S line. The launch event for this new Galaxy device, whatever it may be called, will take place 7PM BST / 2PM EST on May 3rd in London.
