Samsung's worry about getting sued may be something in the past, as far as the Galaxy S III goes. According to information from AndroidPolice.com, the new Galaxy was entirely designed with the help of Samsung lawyers in order to avoid infringement of patents.
In early 2011, Apple had sent Samsung a list of design and shape characteristics which they believed the South Korean company used on their devices. Samsung's team of lawyers made sure these characteristics would not be present in Galaxy S III.
Galaxy S III design may have been thought out to be completely different from Apple's creations, but according to most tech bloggers and reviewers out there the final result is ugly. Samsung Galaxy S III was not released yet, so we will only have a clue of how "ugly" it is when consumers start buying it (or not).
