Google is all set to add its new voice search function to its iOS based Google Search App. The search engine giant announced today in a search-related press event in San Francisco that it will be adding its voice-powered search feature to its iOS app for the iPad and iPhone.
The search engine giant recently launched the Google Now feature with its latest Android 4.1 operating system Jelly Bean and is now ready to add the Siri-like Google Now feature to iOS with a slightly changed interface. The changed interface looks cleaner and features smooth animation.
Google carefully explained in the event that “Google Now” is not coming to iOS, it will be just the “Voice Search” feature. People can expect to see this new “Voice Search” based search app in the Apple App store “within the next couple of days.”
