
According to Engadget, Samsung is all set to release a student edition of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in a few weeks for a regular $249 USD price tag. If you want to know what’s so special about this tablet that will be available for the same price, you will get a Keyboard dock and USB connector as bonus with the tab itself.
The special student edition will be coming to Best Buy in the next few weeks. The keyboard dock and USB connector is the only thing available as extra in this student edition and everything else is same. The 7-inch tablet features WSVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and runs Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
If you are planning to buy a tablet soon, you can think about getting the 16GB Nexus 7 that is available for the same price. But if you don’t like the missing expandable storage option or want to get a keyboard dock or USB dock for free, you can surely check out the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition.
