BlackBerry’s unannounced Bold 9730 recently appeared on its App Word Vendor Portal, according to N4BB. The accidental leak didn’t give away too much as the listing in the App Word Vendor Portal doesn’t contain any specs or other handset related information.
A new section under Bold’s in the App Word showed the new, unannounced Bold 9730. RIM said to N4BB later that it was “simply an error” on their part and will fix the error soon. There is a possibility that this new handset is a CDMA version of the original Bold 9730.
The company is heading to the same direction after the BlackBerry Curve 9320 leak scenario. We don’t know if this is a secondary touchscreen Bold heading to Verizon, Boost Mobile or other carriers. There is no document available for the 9730 so we just have to depend on speculation for now.
