We suspect someone at AT&T is looking rather sheepish right about now after accidently leaking a video of Nokia’s upcoming Lumia 1020 flagship. In fact three videos were accidently leaked onto AT&T’s YouTube channel so we suspect someone at the U.S. based carrier could be looking for a new job today.
Nokia is ready to launch the Lumia 1020 at an event in New York later today, but has now had its latest flagship ousted ahead of schedule. While it is hardly a huge issue, it will certainly take considerable sheen off the big reveal. We have known for some time that the Lumia 1020 (formerly the EOS) was heading our way, so it is nice to see some early confirmation.
Nokia will hope that this mishap on AT&T’s part will not hurt initial buzz around the new phone that is said to sport a massive 41-megapixel camera. Needless to say, the videos have since been removed by AT&T’s official YouTube page, but alas the damage has been done and you can check them out below.
