LinkedIn gives over 3000 employee’s free iPad Minis

If you are already tired of the Valentine’s Day vibe then you may want to look away now, because there is some serious love being shown at LinkedIn. The CEO of the social network geared towards business has dished out a free iPad Mini to every full-time employee of the company.

"Jeff 'Winfrey' Weiner (CEO) decided to give every [LinkedIn] employee an iPad Mini today as a special reward for our recent results," said Mike Grishaver, a product manager at the company. In total, 3,458 32GB iPad Mini’s were handed out, in variations of white or black.

The hand out was to acknowledge the “hard work and accomplishments” of LinkedIn employees throughout last year; the social network recently celebrated getting 200 million members. We suspect Apple was also pretty happy to have shifted so many Minis in one lot!
