Bethesda has just announced the first DLC for the latest title in the Elder Scrolls series by way of the image above.. Skyrim's 'Dawnguard' downloadable content pack will be released this summer. The DLC will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 at the time of it's release.
There had been rumors that the DLC would center on a possible Falmer, or Snow Elf storyline and would bring the addition of crossbows to the title. Unfortunately, no additional details were provided as to what would actually be included in the DLC.
Currently, all we have to go on is the picture above. This shows a Nord character similar to the one shown in the original marketing for the game except for the addition of red, glowing eyes. Additional details are set to be revealed at this year's E3.
Dawnguard' summer launch window too long to wait for new adventures in the frozen, northen lands of Skyrim? Today also marks the release of the Xbox 360 version update which brings Kinect voice control functionality to the game. It might just be time to get that arrow out of your knee and get back to slaying some dragons.
