One of the testers of the next generation Nintendo console, Wii U, has posted on his Twitter an image of what it appears to be the controller of the console. The new image shows Nintendo has done a few modifications to the controller since it showcased its prototype at E3 last year.
The tablet-like (or portable-like) controller now features two full-sized analog sticks instead of the circle pads showed with the controller's prototype. "Select" and "Start" buttons, previously siding "Home" button were relocated right below "X-Y-A-B" buttons in the right and finally, a mysterious squared button has been added in the left part (compare with the old version, image below).
Some are claiming that the leaked image is actually of the controller before Nintendo revealed it last year, but the new controller matches rumors which said Nintendo would be making a few modifications before its final announcement, which is set to happen at E3 2012 (June 5-7).
