The "Angry Birds" franchise is going to be conquering another field of game playing. Activision has reportedly sealed a deal with Rovio Entertainment to develop high definition versions of "Angry Birds" for today's most popular gaming consoles.
Activision is expected to drop the very first "Angry Birds" for consoles by fall. While Activision and Rovio have not commented the deal, the game makers are expected to publish a joint press release within the following weeks regarding the issue, the USA Today reports.
Activion's confirmation of "Angry Birds" console version was subtle. During one its presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, the company hinted at a new console title showing a red bird soaring from the back of the screen towards the front of it.
