Playdead, the game development studio behind the immensely popular, 2D platformer Limbo has a new project in the works and some of the first details about the title have been revealed along with a singular image. Project 2, the internal working title for the game, was shown off on the website for the Danish Film Institute.
The game description given tells us that the game will use "unique puzzles and changing scenarios narrated the story of one boy's struggle against evil forces through questionable experiments on human bodies, trying to take over the world. The game is in color and set in a 3D environment, while the gameplay takes place as a 2D platformer."
These vague details, the above screenshot, and a list of platforms the game will be coming to are pretty much all we know about Project 2 at this point. The game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Mac, and PC. A release date was not given, however.
