An eBay seller posted a listing for the alleged Microsoft Xbox Durango Development Kit today. The seller’s name is “superdae” which matches with the person who claimed to have sample images that we posted earlier on TheTechStuff of the Kinect successor, Durango Kinect.
The listing on eBay contains only one image of the Alpha Tower and has been sold for $20,000. There is no information available about who bought the device. The eBay seller told The Tech Game, “All proceeds go to charity. And by charity, I mean my new car.”
If you don’t know what Durango is, it’s the codename of next generation Xbox which is expected to release in the next 18 months. The Alpha Tower sold at eBay is not close to the final Xbox console and won’t look the same. The status of the auction came to “sold” after 43 bids.
