Using Ladders and Throwing People off the Hell in a Cell in WWE '13

WWE ‘13 is a fun game with lots of different ways to beat up your opponents.  There are ladder matches, TLC (tables, ladders and chairs), cage matches, inferno matches and even the dreaded Hell in a Cell.  The problem is that even though these matches are actually quite easy to do sometimes people don’t understand just how to pull off those moves that they want to do.

Watching what keywords and phrases have been moving around the search engines lately in relation to WWE ’13 it’s interesting to see one of the most common questions people are looking for answers on is just how to throw people off the Hell in a Cell, or how to do the ladder match.  This is why I thought I would give people a little helping hand in this department.

Hell in a Cell and Other Weapons of Choice

One of the easiest to look at first is Hell in a Cell.  The first thing to do is to actually get out of the cell.  This involves beating your opponent up to the point that you have a stored finisher then getting them outside the ring.  Take them to one of the corners of the cage and you will see instead of the usual message to press “Y” (on the Xbox 360) for your finisher it will be an “OMG” moment.  Pressing Y will then show you throwing your opponent through the side of the cage to the outside, where you can then climb up.  Now, the key here is to “Irish whip” the opponent to the side of the Cell itself and as they are struggling to keep their balance try to grab them, this will result in you throwing them off (the best side to be for this is where the announcers table is as you’ll throw them through it).  As with previous versions of the game it’s also possible to send them through the middle of the cage itself simply by slamming them through it, or other similar moves (including finishers).

With a Ladder Match, which also relates to TLC and Money in the Bank to climb a ladder is quite simple, all you have to do is stand next to it and press LB then move up the ladder.  If the title that is hanging above the ring is in reach you can then grab it when the game tells you to push up on the right stick to grab the title then pull down when it tells you.  If you are lucky then you will fall with it in your hands and you are the winner.
