Avalanche Studios co-founder Linus Blomberg has expressed his optimism for Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 console. Avalanche develops the popular and critically acclaimed open world adventure game Just Cause, and will be working closely with the PS4 in games development.
Blomberg, the company’s co-founder has taken the time to praise Sony’s latest generation console and he talked up the console's social capabilities, something Sony itself was keen to discuss at the launch of the PlayStation 4. Blomerg said the PS4 will be “a social tool and integrated marketplace more akin to the successful mobile devices."
He also said that Sony’s console will outpace PC technology for years to come, “I’m glad Sony decided to go with 8 GB RAM because it means that the PS4 will out-power most PCs for years to come,” he said. Sony is expected to release the PlayStation 4 in time for the holiday season this year.
