Google Chromebook Pixel the New Touchscreen Laptop for Google Users
I’ve not been that much of a fan of the Chromebook ranges, but now that the Pixel is being released it’s one again time to see what improvements have been made to Google’s operating system and laptop range. My problems have arguably been with the operating system itself which seems to be lacking when it comes to comparing it to the likes of Windows, OS X and Linux. Is it time for the Google operating system to finally find it’s time?
Now that the Pixel moves into the touchscreen …

Samsung Series 3 Chromebook a more Simpler Chromebook with a Cheaper Price
As Microsoft and Apple slug it out to get customers attention with the Windows 8 tablet/laptop hybrids and Apple’s MacBook releases it’s easy to forget sometimes that Google is wanting to take a bite out of this market and claim their share. I’ve looked at the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook before, but now it’s time to look at the Series 3, which is a smaller and cheaper version with an equally smaller price tag.
At £229/$330 it definitely has a price that entices the customers to ta…
Macbook Pro 13-inch Smaller Premium Laptop with New Retina Display
Along with the iPad 4 and the iPad Mini Apple revealed that they were releasing the Macbook Pro in a new 13-inch model. Sleaker and more powerful they took pride in the fact that the new MacBook Pro is thinner, smaller and still manages to have the Retina Display which will obviously be the big selling point in this new model.
The Ultra Book market is no longer dominated by Apple though (though they would argue it is of course) and the PC market will give quite a lot of competitio…
Samsung Series 5 550P Laptop with a Big Screen for a Big Multimedia Experience
Laptops by their very nature are meant to be portable, you can just close the lid and walk away with it, stick it in your backpack or laptop case and be able to take it with you. The current trend with ultrabooks, MacBooks, Netbooks etc. is to go small and lean, everything needs to be as thin as possible and look so good. Sometimes though we want something with a big screen. Sure, a 13-inch screen is good and fully usable for most things, but sometimes we could do with a full 17-inc…

Razer’s Blade laptop has gone through a redesign and it looks to be something special. A powerful gaming laptop with a big 17-inch screen that still manages to be light is a machine that will gain some notice. It’s the new features though that is of interest. One of the more noticeable changes though is a new touchpad interface which is actually more of a touchscreen. This is new to laptops in that it’s actually a whole separate screen on the keyboard itself where you can actually …

While most news in the technological world looks at Apple’s battles to stay supreme at the top of the smartphone market it’s often forgotten that they arguably have one of the best ultra-books on sale right now in the shape of the MacBook Pro. There is no denying even for people who sit on the fence when it comes to the “which is best?” game that Apple have a winner there, if you are happy to live the “Apple” life and use OS X of course. For people who feel more at home in the PC wor…
