Damsel in Distress

Tropes vs. Women is a series of planned videos that will “explore, analyse and deconstruct some of the common tropes and stereotypes of female characters in games”, and was funded through Kickstarter. Damsels in Distress is actually the first video in this series, and has only recently been posted but has garnered quite a lot of interest from gaming sites. The fact is Sarkeesian knows her stuff and introduces it in an intelligent way, providing what she believes to be true.
